On Tuesday, January 19, 2010, Massachusetts is having a special election to fill the senate seat left empty by the late Senator Ted Kennedy. The Republican candidate, Scott Brown, is a gun rights supporter who has an “A” grade from the NRA. The Democratic candidate, Martha Coakley, is an ardent opponent of gun rights who earned an “F” grade from the NRA. Those NRA candidate grades can be seen here.
I would like to urge everyone in MA to vote on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. The stakes are high for gun owners, given the extremely anti gun president, vice president, executive appointees, and senators which are currently in office.
I am sorry I can’t vote for Scott Brown for the
U.S. Senate in Mass. He gets an ‘A’ from the NRA and is a LTC in the Massachusetts ARNG. We need more in Congress just like him. Obama and his supporters want to disarm us. When it becomes time to hide our firearms from our own government which would take them from us; its time to dig them up, for if our government does not trust us to defend ourselves, those in
government should not be trusted.
It’s a great night for responsible and legal gun ownership. Thank you, Senator Scott Brown, for running a classy campaign and keeping faith with the will of the people on this fundamental right. Onwards and upwards for the 2nd Amendment.
