As reported, a Tulsa, Oklahoma homeowner used his shotgun to stop a man who broke in and became violent.
Police say that 20 year old Bradley Hill first came to the house late Tuesday looking for his girlfriend, but was rebuffed. Hill allegedly then forced his way into the home, hit the homeowner in the face, then left. Returning early the next morning, Hill kicked in the front door of the home and entered, at which point the homeowner feared for his safety and fired a shotgun in self defense, according to police. Hill suffered non-life-threatening leg wounds, and was taken into custody on two burglary complaints, police say.
Once again, a law abiding citizen has used a firearm to defend themselves. Had this homeowner not been armed, he could have ended up injured or killed in his own house by a violent home invader. Luckily, he was armed, and as a result didn’t suffer any further harm.
