Earlier this week, the Iowa legislature passed SF-2379, which would turn Iowa into a “shall issue” concealed carry state. However, Governor Culver has not yet signed this bill into law. If you haven’t contacted the Governor’s office yet, please do so today. Remember, this law would allow those with concealed carry permits from other states to lawfully carry in Iowa, so even if you’re not an Iowa resident, please contact Gov. Culver and urge him to sign SF-2379 into law.
