In a matter of hours, the United States Supreme Court is expected to rule on the constitutionality of the Chicago handgun ban. Hopefully, the Court will find the handgun ban to a violation of the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution, ending the ability of state and local governments to infringe the right to keep and bear arms with impunity. Once the decision is released by the Supreme Court, more information will follow.
In the mean time, below is a video clip of John Stossel interviewing Otis McDonald, who is the plaintiff in the McDonald v. Chicago lawsuit, and lead attorney Alan Gura:
Daley claims that he is going to defy the Supreme Court if they overturn his un-Constitutional handgun ban. WGN News reported that the "City is considering registration." That is utter BS since registration is how they got the ban enacted in the first place. The city outlawed all unregistered guns, then refused to allow citizens to register handguns. Banning them, without banning them. The insidious cunning of the Daley Machine is truly frightening to any good patriot.
