As reported, a bank robber was shot by an armed citizen in a Detroit, MI bank.
Police say that an armed robber entered the Citizen’s Bank in Detroit at about 4:00pm on September 21, with his fingers covered in tape in an attempt to conceal his fingerprints. A concealed carry permit holder reported used his own gun to shoot the gun-wielding robber, causing the robber to collapse on the sidewalk outside the bank, according to police. Over $9,000 and a suspect, reportedly identified as 43-year-old Henry Houston Man, were found by police at the scene. According to news reports, Mann had spent 20 years in prison for a murder conviction, and has since been federally indicated for the alleged bank robbery.
This is not the first time that I’ve written about a bank robbery being stopped by an armed citizen. As just a few examples from this website in years past, this bank robbery was stopped by an armed citizen, as was this ATM robbery. So was this bank robbery. Concealed carry works.
