A pizza delivery man in Pennsylvania used his gun to stop a robber after being stabbed.
Police say that a pizza delivery driver in Beaver Falls, PA was returning to his vehicle when a robber who was armed with a knife approached him and attempted to rob him. Despite being stabbed by the robber, the driver reportedly grabbed his self defense handgun from his vehicle and fired once, striking the robber and ending the attack. The driver was treated at a local hospital, and the robber’s body was found nearby.
Pizza delivery drivers are frequently targeted by armed robbers. All too often, the pizza delivery driver is killed by a criminal who values the few dollars that they are carrying more than human life. This is another reason why I support concealed carry, as armed pizza delivery drivers can defend themselves like this man did, rather than being murdered while just trying to earn an honest living.
